Just as the people of Israel had fallen away from serving the one true living God, so are many falling away today. How do we keep our children from doing the same? We teach them through stories such as this one about Elijah, the prophet. His stand to remain faithful to the Lord amid a nation that had turned to worshipping idols will instill purpose in the heart of your child to do the same.
