Author Jan Willem van der Hoeven
Jan Willem van der Hoeven is the founder/director of the International Christian Zionist Center in Israel. He was born in Holland and studied in England, obtaining his Bachelor of Divinity from London University.
Jan Willem's home for many years has been the Middle East, first in the Arab world, then in Israel. From 1968 to 1975, he was the custodian and preacher at the GardenTomb in Jerusalem. He was one of the initiators of the yearly, international, Christian celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem and a principal founder of the International Christian Embassy. He has traveled extensively in many nations, addressing Christian, Jewish and secular audiences, and is a recognized authority on the history, challenges and prophecies regarding this most strategic region of the world.
Jan Willem and his wife, Ellen, live north of Jerusalem in Anatot, the Biblical home of Jeremiah the prophet.
