Teaching your child that Jesus always looks at the heart
Many people simply called her, “the woman who was a sinner.” When she heard Jesus would be eating one evening at Simon the Pharisee’s house, she gathered her courage and her alabaster box of ointment and went where she knew she would not be welcome.
When she arrived, to the astonishment of everyone present, and to the disgust of Simon, she humbled herself before Jesus, washed His feet with her tears, and dried them with her hair. Then she broke open her treasured alabaster box of ointment and poured it over the feet of Jesus as an act of worship.
