We are a co-publishing company. We come alongside authors to assist, but we never �own� their books. Our authors have the final word on everything, from the title, to the cover design, to the retail price, to all editing and marketing decisions. As soon as we decide to unite our efforts, you will be assigned a �book mentor� who will educate you on the publishing process and help you make all the right choices.

THERE ARE FOUR MAIN STEPS TO TAKE IN BECOMING

A PUBLISHED AUTHOR WITH DEEPER REVELATION BOOKS!

1.      APPROVAL�Normally within seven days of your submission date, one of our editors will give your book an initial assessment. If your manuscript is approved, we will email you a basic overview, indicating the steps we feel you need to take to achieve maximum success.

2.      EVALUATION�If approved, a book must then pass through �Evaluation� to determine four things: first, what level of editing your book will require; second, the size and style of the work; third, if the book is only for personal outreach or ministry use or if national and international distribution is desired, and fourth, what the author�s purposes and goals are with regard to the target audience, size of print run, distribution, promotion, marketing and advertising.

3.      COST ESTIMATE�Once we determine a basic �Book Plan� for a new DRB Associate Author, an estimate can be given on projected costs. This can always be altered later on in the process to allow for modifications and changes.

4.       PRODUCTION�Once a book is approved and has passed through the stages of evaluation and cost estimate, we move into the production stage: editing, proofreading, cover production, internal layout and finally, the print run. This normally takes from three to six months, depending on the complexity of the project. When a large scale promotion and marketing campaign is part of the release, planning and step-by-step implementation can take up to a year.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

Subject Matter�Your book must be Christian in nature and in agreement with the "Statement of Faith" of Deeper Revelation Books. It can be either non-fiction or fiction. In the near future, fiction books may be placed under a new company label, created just for that category.

Manuscript Submission�Submitted manuscripts can be sent to us in either of the following two formats:

(1) Microsoft Word Document--Send a digital copy of your manuscript in a Microsoft Word document, either single-spaced or double-spaced, a simple layout on 8.5�x 11� pages with 1� margins. You may email it to info@deeperrevelationbooks.org or send it to our mailing address on a CD. After approval we may ask for you to send a paper copy as well. It is very important that you do NOT try to lay out your document with a complicated design. It makes it more difficult to adapt to our professional publishing programs. Please keep it very simple.

(2) Adobe InDesign (other formats also considered on a case-by-case basis)-- if your book has already been laid out in some kind of publishing program, we might be able to work from the design a professional graphic artist has already created, either as is, or with the intention of changing the appearance, if that is the author�s desire. After approval of your format, we may ask for you to send a paper copy as well.
