Deeper
Revelation Books assists writers in publishing their works,
using the latest technologies to create products of excellence. We
provide the expertise necessary to help Christian authors succeed in
getting their works out to the body of Christ and the world. We provide
cost analysis, project oversight, editing, proofreading, distribution
contacts and other services. Our goal is to lift our associate authors
to a new level of success and fruitfulness in ministry.
THERE ARE FOUR
MAIN STEPS TO TAKE IN
PUBLISHING
YOUR BOOK THROUGH
DEEPER
REVELATION!
1.
APPROVAL—There is a submission fee, which varies according to the size of the book (see below).
2.
EVALUATION—If
approved, a book must then pass through “Evaluation” to determine three
things: first, if the book will need professional editing; second, if
national and international distribution is desired, and third, what the
author’s purposes and goals are with regard to the target audience,
size of print run and promotion, marketing and advertising.
3.
ESTIMATE—Once
we determine a basic “Book Plan” for a new DRB Associate Author, an
estimate can be given on projected costs.
4.
PRODUCTION—Once
a book is approved and has passed through the stages of evaluation and
cost estimate, we move into the production stage: editing and/or
proofreading, cover production, internal layout and finally, the print
run.

Websites & Media-Kits—We
are committed to giving our Associate Authors the best presentation
possible for their books. We can produce a website for you (example:
wwww.bengodwin.org) and/or Online Media-Kit presentations (example:
www.shreveministries.org/mediakit). If you desire these, be sure to let
us know.
Subject
Matter—Your book must be Christian in nature and in
agreement with the "Statement of Faith" of Deeper
Revelation Books.
Manuscript Submission—Submitted
manuscripts can be sent to us in either of the two following ways:
(1)Microsoft Word Document with two paper
copies. (single-spaced on 81/2”x11” with 1” margins), and on a
disk;
(2)Adobe Pagemaker or Adobe InDesign: if
your
book has already been laid out in either of these two programs, we can
work from the design you have already created, either as is, or with
the intention of changing the look. Please send two paper copies with
your file(s).
Please note:
There is a submission fee that must accompany your manuscript (See
below). Please make out checks/money orders to Deeper Revelation Books.

1-100 pages--$30
101-200 pages--$40
201-300 pages--$50
Over 300 pages--$75
(8.5 x 11 page size).
Manuscripts
will not returned due to the editorial process.
Previously
Published Works—If your book has been previously printed
and/or published, you may submit your work in book form. If your work
has been published and you have been in a contractual relationship with
a publisher, you must submit a signed release form from your former
publisher allowing you to republish with another company.
Financing—Except for projects
that Deeper Revelation Books plans, we will not financially underwrite
the production of any books. Please only make a submission if you
intend to finance the project yourself. We will supply you with
estimates on the cost only after manuscript approval.
Copyright—Our Associate
Authors maintain ownership of their books and copyrights. The only
exception is when Deeper Revelation Books employs the help of an author
in producing a book. We will help you through the process of obtaining
a copyright, if you need our assistance.
Promotion—For approved
authors, we do basic promotional work, submitting books to reviewers,
obtaining TV and radio interviews, writing and sending out
press releases and various promotional, marketing and advertisement
options, some of which incur a charge.
Distribution—We
offer distribution to the Christian bookstore community through Anchor
Distributors and to secular outlets through Baker & Taylor
Distributors. Through a POD (Print-On-Demand) agreement with a company
named Lightning Source, we are able to connect those authors who print their
works through us to a database of 26,000 retailers, including groups
like Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million, and other major chains. We also
post all Deeper Revelation Books on Amazon.com. Yes, you can get your
idea out to the world. Publish through DRB!!!
